World Customs Organisation Confers Honour on Borderless Alliance

The World Customs Organisation, through the Customs of Cote d’Ivoire, has awarded a certificate of recognition to Borderless Alliance at short ceremony in the Ivorian capital of Abidjan to mark this year’s World Customs Day. The award is in acknowledgement of Borderless Alliance’s support to the Cote d’Ivoire Customs through the organisation of workshops and seminars by its Border Information Centre at Noé, and its efforts at facilitating customs clearance.

The day which is marked annually on 26thJanuary, to commemorate the very first official conference of the Customs Co-operation Council, also saw organisations like l’Agence Véritas, Webb Fontain and the Ports of Abidjan and San Pédro receiving similar awards.

The World Customs Organization was established in the year 1952 as an autonomous body to enhance the efficacy and effectiveness of the customs administrations all across the world.
