ABOUT BA

Borderless Alliance is a private sector led advocacy platform and member association established in 2011 to address the barriers affecting regional trade. Borderless Alliance uses evidence based advocacy to promote the vision of free trade for producers, importers, exporters, and financial institutions in West Africa.

Mission

To create a strong platform for private sector participation in the sub-regional trade facilitation and integration efforts; as well as provide significant business networking opportunities for increased West African trade and investment.

Vision

To have a West Africa where goods, people, services and capital move quickly, efficiently and inexpensively across borders. More efficient transport means more trade – and in turn, this means stronger economic growth, higher profits for companies, greater income for national governments, increased investment and more jobs.

Strategy

We bring together stakeholders from the private sector to leverage resources and address critical issues affecting transport and trade in West Africa. We create platforms for direct dialogue between private and public sector stakeholders, while working with partners to ensure that credible data on the true state of intra-regional trade is regularly collected and disseminated.

ACTIVITIES
